Hi,
My name is Aravanis Konstantinos (a.k.a. sbosx or Αραβανής Κωνσταντίνος in Greek) and I am a student at the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department (CEID) of the School of Engineering at the University of Patras, Greece.
I was born in Athens and my hometown is Glyfada. My interests are about Open Source, Distributed Systems, High Performance, Operating Systems and all about coding and have fun.
In my free time I enjoy watching movies, especially at the cinema, listening to music, cycling and of course having fun with my friends.
Every summer I visit my country house at Lefkada, which is a Greek island mostly famous about its beautiful beaches like Porto Katsiki, Agiofili and Kathisma and many more… Lefkada is the island loved by Aristotle S. Onassis.
Now I am working on my thesis about WSAN (Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks) which I am developing with Java for the Sun Spot Platorms.
Also I love coding in Python and I am currently co-administrating the TasPython.eu (Python) User Group.
A project that I am currently developing with the TasPython Team (and we have fun with) is CEID Battle. CEID Battle is a simple game (developped with the use of the pygame module) . In this game the user must achieve his goals by by-passing the “BAD” professors of my university’s department and win by using the “GOOD” ones…!
The Operating System that I am using, is Debian GNU/Linux in the testing mode, and as I said before I am an Open Source enthousiast and a fan of the GPL & BSD licences.
Here you can find my CV.
